That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Holy shit, sj. Do you think that's why they're the former and not the current principal?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

No. I don't think so. He left to become a professor at a local college about 5 years ago.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh no, sj. That's awful.

msbelle, you are a force of nature. I'm in awe.

I am not panicking but I am concerned, moreso because China doesn't have a reputation for giving accurate information.

You're right, askye. I thought about the posts I'm seeing here (where there is panic), and in Israel we still have universal healthcare, so the situation is different.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The former principal on ltc's future school was just arraigned on child pornography charges.

Ewwwww! But am glad to see "former" and "future" in that sentence.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I walked into work this morning, didn't talk to any one, and no one has noticed me yet. I'm not looking forward to having to tell the same story umpteen times, and I'm feeling crappy enough about myself even before I get subjected to "good natured" ribbing from my coworkers.

Scola, if anyone asks you, just look at them gravely and say "I'm not permitted to talk about it".

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today seems like a very Monday-ish Monday.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I have arrived in DC. I realized I forgot a few things, but so far nothing critical. I was going to pay for wifi on the plane to get some work done, but it failed to process my payment. So I got some work done offline and then read most of a book instead.

Now I need to find some food for dinner and catch up on my inbox so I know what clusterfuck awaits me when I go to our DC office tomorrow morning.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I stayed home sick today. However, I think possibly the Kim Chi soup has cured my cold. I have no idea why my little grocery store In whitey MC whitetown, within walking distance had Kim chi, but it seems to be cleaning out my sinuses

I'm on a train waiting for it to pull out of the station and deliver me to Seattle in about 3.5 hours. Plan to do some work, then some reading. Cross your fingers I figure out where the plugs are?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

There was no school today, so Mr. S was home all day with the nanny. Came home to a mess in the living room. (His room seems to be in a permanent state of mess, so I don't know how much was from today and how much was from before.) He goes back to PEP tomorrow.
