That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Fie upon the insurance hassles! Obstructionist bullshit designed to wear you down.

my old boss did a special presentation to thank me for all my work with her.

Awwww! That makes me so happy!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no, meara! I hope it turns out to be not so much of a mess to fix and you can get through the next few days ok

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today food used up:

1 frozen meal, bottle of lambic, carton of milk (I have more coconut milk that I will use until I leave), can of dog food, and I am about to make banana bread - so I hope that uses up something else.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Oh, meara, that is utter BS.

Things you do not want to hear on a Friday night:

"Hey, hon, you know where the medical POA is you signed for me, right?"

(She's home, happy fun times in the ER leading to "It's probably a pinched nerve, please actually take the muscle relaxants"; her roommate is keeping an ear out as she showers and I am going to go quietly have a meltdown.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Meats, that is terrible! How stressful.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Which reminds me, I should find some medical reason to non-urgently test my new health insurance, so to make sure my card works, et cetera.

Our wings are not tired.

Sophia, that is just lovely. There is no reward that tops appreciation.

Go Epic with the active weekend.

I hope Mr S gives you a break over the long weekend, Sheryl. You deserve one of those days in bed with cat and book and wine and no disruptions. Maybe take a personal day when your son is back in day care.

Yikes amyparker! No fun!

Insurance companies and the resulting state of our health care system make me so angry. Promoting greed over the nation's health. Things must change.

I got my son a Lyft gift card for his birthday so I wouldn't have to pick him up from work at midnight every night while DH is out of town. Win win there.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Laura, that's just not possible. Remember, he has PEP in the morning, and the nanny brings him home afterwards, so any time I take off would not be spent without disruptions. Meanwhile, today hasn't started out all that great with him.
