I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh. I seem to have lost my purse. I had it Tuesday morning because I remember hanging it on the hook in my cubicle and being annoyed with myself for not moving the purse-hook thing back to it from my "evening" purse. I couldn't find it when I wanted to go to lunch yesterday. What did I do with it between those times? Don't know. It isn't anywhere in my cubicle or in my car, not in the usual place I keep it at home or any of the typical places I set stuff down when I come in the door and drop things. I have a bad feeling I set it down somewhere outside for some reason and didn't pick it up again.

So that's the cash I had set aside for groceries, 4 gift cards worth $160, all my credit cards, my passport card, and the key to the car I am trying to donate to public radio. Not to mention the purse itself which is made of a penguin print fleece and is adorable. I just want to cry but I guess I'd better work instead.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no! I hope it's somewhere odd, just waiting to be found.

Me too. Go team put it in the freezer for no good reason! Or whatever.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh no, -t! That is awful. I hope it is somewhere random. Is your trash from the cubicle emptied? If it was left outside I'm sending the ~ma for a decent human to find it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

find-the-purse-ma for Minus-t! So stressy.

Absolute deluge in SF this morning. Even with an umbrella my pants got soaked just going to the cafe after getting Matilda on the bus.

Trash gets emptied every evening, Laura, but I think the guy who does my department would have noticed a purse in my little bin. He looks out for me like that.

It wasn't raining when I got to work but I have been hearing it on the roof. Sounds pretty stormy!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I am at home with a cat in my lap.(Home a bit early, and the nanny seems to have taken Mr. S out to play. Better than him watching tv all day.)
