And to be true to the name, they have snacks at their shows, but you never know what snacks they'll be. Wasabi peas and fruit rollups? Skittles and pork rinds? NO ONE KNOWS.
I have actually seen a snack-themed superhero rock band named The Go-Nuts.
All of their songs were about snacks AND they had a Snack-a-Pult which launched snacks into the audience. (It was a tiny catapult powered by a bungie cord that shot Costco cheetos into your face.)
Spoon~ma and finding a therapist soon~ma, Pix. I'm sorry things are overwhelming.
I am on my third day of migraine
I'm only having the pain, sore muscles (some tense as a reaction to the pain), and exhaustion from the pain, but sister, I hear ya. On Thursday I forgot my painkillers at home so I had the luxurious experience of being eight hours at work with pain and without pain killers. Took me almost 36 hours to mostly recover from that. Not recommended. Feel better soon!
Migraine sounds horrible
I started my graduate class. It is a lot. I am a super fast reader, so I don't understand how slow readers can do this. I have to research instructional design job postings for core competencies before tomorrow at midnight. I think I have to make peace with the fact I am going to be the person posting at 11:59.
Friday night we were getting party supplies prior to party-going, so I was, hey, I'll walk across the street to this vegan restaurant and see if they have any dairy-free desserts that I could bring one of for myself.
The restaurant has NO desserts. Not 'out' of them, just doesn't carry them as a part of their healthy mission.
I'm still kind of irate.
Oh than the sweet baby Jesus I did not wake up with another headache this morning!! My back is kinda killing me from the many many hours I've spent in bed over the past three days, but I'm otherwise good. Whew.
YAY!
That's awesome. A non-headache morning is good.
Thank god, meara. I've always been so grateful that my migraines don't involve nausea.
There's a lot going on for people. Best outcome~ma to all.
I'm trying a new recipe today for cauliflower cheese soup. Right now I mainly smell garlic and onion from my slow cooker, as I watch the Mandelorian, which isn't a bad way to spend the afternoon.
My house is warm and toasty (baked cookies and mulled juice on the stove) which is nice, but not so conducive to get me up and packing.
Next to last Sunday at church. Some lovely people I will missing seeing once a week (they are not on facebook), but otherwise I will be happy to have Sundays free and maybe I will get around to writing secular lyrics to my favorite hymns like I have been thinking of doing.
oh - and I just sold a dress on fb - so yay. $15 to me.
