Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And in deserves-a-separate-post:

Laura, I'm sorry about your husband's friend. It's devastating.

And yay Gud's kid for the job offer! Very impressive.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

This week has draaaaged on, at least to me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Same here, Sheryl. None of the grandparents were able to visit this week, and ltc was cranky about it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It went by in a relative flash for me -- every day at work was packed, mostly in a busy-but-not-crazy way. I spent very little time being bored, but that kind of lets me recharge my mental batteries.

And now I'm supposed to go to a relatively-low-key party where we will belatedly celebrate NYE, sort of.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Laura, I too am so sorry about your husband's friend. How devastating.

I am glad your son seems to be doing well, though.

My week flew too! There is so much work at the beginning of the semester!

Murderbiscuit is already President in my heart.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Murderbiscuit is already President in my heart.

His running mate can be Luna, the dog next door who is wicked smart. It'll be a ticket in the grand old tradition of POTUS who doesn't understand a damn thing but likes to stir the shit + VPOTUS who is smart and just steps around the shit.

Murderbiscuit/Luna 2020!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Look, my favorite candidates are out and I haven't picked a remaining one to like enough to wholeheartedly glom onto yet. I am FULLY in support of Murderbiscuit2020 at least until then.

Our wings are not tired.

My primary is 2 weeks after super Tuesday, so I am totally down with Murderbiscuit/Luna 2020.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.
