I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's like egg nog, but frozen (and with alcohol, if your nog does not usually contain it).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Think of it as being ready to attack the Mayor, Jesse

Ha!

Now I wish I had egg nog daiquiri.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sophia, you're not the only one who was mysteriously switched to Spanish on Facebook -- you're maybe the third person I've heard it happen to!

I went out Lyfting this morning and came home to a pleasant puzzle -- someone sent me one of those fancy-ass car battery chargers with a "Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!" cards but no indication who sent it. As you know, Bob, my car battery died just a week or two ago, and I needed two jump starts before I could get to a place that could replace my dead old battery!

So I don't know who sent it!!! And it's like perfect, and also not a cheap present, either.

I will just have to send my gratitude out in all directions in the hopes it reaches the person(s) responsible.

I took myself out to breakfast, them took a long walk around a lake. Now I am home again and super needing to clean my room, but also super not wanting to. Need motivation. Later, a Hanukkah party and then an LWord watch party.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I went put and got my nails done and my hair cut, both at my Meijers (local super grocery). They did my nails in a new (to me way which involves painting a clear liquid on the nail, then dipping it in a little jar of fine powder and tapping the excess off. It is supposed to be better for the nails, last a long time, and it was wicked cool to watch. My $15 haircut is also fine, even if the nice lady cutting it spoke a little too much about being a Christian and how blessed she was for my taste.

I thought I was going to be the worst person to sit next to on my connection to Detroit due to this cold, but no, it was the person who had to use an air sickness bag during our 25 minute flight. I had enough time to refill my water and buy more cough drops for a ridiculous sum, so fingers crossed that I don't cough during my entire San Francisco flight.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Weirdly, Reddit changed my inbox to Spanish.

Lol clearly my brothers worst fears are coming true and we are all about to have to speak Spanish. I for one welcome nuestros nuevos overlords.

I have heard of the powder dip nails! How do they compare in terms of staying power/chipping, and ease of removal?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S had a birthday party to go to this morning.(One of his former classmates from last year's preschool.) After that, we dropped him off at my MIL's house where she had arranged a playdate with the grandson of one of her friends.
