Happy belateds to all the birthday celebrants.

We spent yesterday at a game night hosted by some friends at their church rec hall, which was a ton of fun. We brought Throw Throw Burrito and after we'd finished our game we let the toddlers in attendance take ownership of the burritos and run around throwing them at each other. Then we played Blockbuster which is like a combination of Anomia/Taboo/Charades but for movies, and is insanely fun. And the packaging is DELIGHTFUL.

To balance that out, I'm spending this afternoon searching the NYU library system for the readings I need to do for my study-abroad trip to Cuba, as the professor has very unhelpfully not uploaded them to the class website. (There is a folder called Resources with a bunch of stuff in it from last year's class, but none of the articles she's assigned in the syllabus.)

I am super annoyed because I got my laptop fixed (the screen) but I can't get it to recognize my WiFi Or my hotspot. So I still can't use it.

I'm on a plane! Love the one free hour of WiFi. Very glad to be heading home. I'd totally commune with my sister and brother in law, but I wanna be home in my house and see my friends and stuff.

Also I feel like a 5 day week is going to be hard! Like, I had a weekend, then worked a day, then two days off, worked two days, have a weekend, will work two more days, have a day off, two more days, weekend...I could get v used to this schedule!
