And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

Dana I hear you—my sister and BIL leave msnbc on all day long in the background. I can't stand it, even if it's better than having Fox News on, it's still awful.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yeah, better than Fox, so there's that.

I miss the days when my Mom kept on the Weather Channel all the time. She said she liked the background music.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

One the things I hate about being at my parent's house is that they still watch tv news, but at least they do not watch the 24 hour news channels when I am there.

lazy morning. I think my body is caught up on sleep, I'm waking up on my own after about 8 hours now.

Today I am packing the sewing closet and non-liquid, non-essentials from the bathroom. Possibly doing so while watching documentaries.

Our wings are not tired.

The 24 hour news stations are absurd with the repetitiveness, but still better anytime than local news. Local news is all if it bleeds it leads awfulness. Hard to say whether local is better or worse than Fox.

Punishingly Intricate

My husband's aunt and uncle have a big Xmas Eve get together and she had MSNBC on in the kitchen the whole time just to fuck with the Trumpies in the family (of which there aren't many). I'm usually against TVs being on unless you are specifically watching a show but it was pretty glorious.

Trip home yesterday was pretty easy. Our flight was overbooked and they ended up offering a $600 voucher to switch to a slightly later flight so I took it and ended up getting a fair amount of work done while I waited. A Christmas travel miracle!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is excellent, lisah! I never get those offers unless I'm desperate to get where I'm going.

I've finally watched some of the Ken Burns country music documentary, and there are so many good stories in there, I think I'd rather watch a whole hour or two about Merle Haggard, or Loretta Lynn, or Charlie Pride, etc etc, rather than this big sweep. It's plenty interesting, though.

woohoo travel voucher!! last year was my magic year for miles and vouchers. I think I took 4 trips for less than $800 total in airline tickets.

Thrive to spite them

I do not have to work this weekend and I am so so glad. I got pulled into women's shoes and finally after some pushing they were able to pull more people and I left.

I couldn't pull shoes for anyone so the lines were backing up. I have been getting so hot lately I'm paranoid about getting sick from the heat again.

They are down to 3 full time people in the dept. 2 people walked out, one got fired, another quit but worked their 2 weeks

The biggest problem is customers. They are so sanding and unrealistic. Like the ones who hand you 6 pairs of shoes and want this in 2 sizes to try and them get mad because you can't carry a dozen boxes
