Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday to Theo, Jesse, and Rayne!

It seems I am not quite done with eating dangerous food this year. There's leftover cookies and fudge, what am I, a monk? I wasn't all bad, I only had one alcoholic beverage, a cup of mulled wine. Delicious, but alcohol now makes me get overheated and turn bright red in the face and I scared my sister, so I didn't drink anymore. I miss alcohol.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy Birthday Happy Birthday Happy Birthday: one for each of Theo, Jesse and Rayne. I have this and next week off, so I'm enjoying myself by trying to organize, clean and get rid of stuff we don't need. I did my closet and have a huge bag going to Goodwill. Our downstairs bathroom has a big shelved closet which we are going to completely reorganize, as it's now a crazy mish mosh and whenever we need to find something like a lightbulb or a measuring tape, it's impossible.

Birthday Theo!

Happy Birthday Jesse!

Happy Birthday Rayne!

My dudes, I am on excellent drugs. In addition to otc anti-inflammatories and pain meds, there are muscle relaxers and opiates. This is the closest im going to ever get to laudanum.

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmm, good drugs! Enjoy. I hope they do your body right.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's forced hot water, so we have radiators. The furnace is supposed to circulate hot water through the hot water heater in a separate pipe(s), so that the non-potable radiator water doesn't end up in the good hot water. But the diagnosis is that there's a break somewhere in the pipe(s) and the pressure from the city main is actually driving the pressure (and excess water) back into the furnace, so thence the pressure valve is leaking mightily.

That's probably more than you want to know.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I used 5 cans from the pantry and 2 things from the freezer for meal prep today. I keep planning to bake and end up not getting around to it. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday.

I might meet up with 2 guys from my old workplace for wings tomorrow night. If that comes together, I will make something. I owe one of them a pie. Maybe cookies or banana bread for the other.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Go, msbelle!

Our house is a mess, but the only thing I managed to do today was a quick run to the market, which was actually nice because the store was mostly empty. TCG goes back to work tomorrow, and ltc is off until the 2nd. She's coughing and not sleeping right now. So, tomorrow may include a trip to the vet.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Happy belated birthdays!

msbelle, I'm in awe of all of the work you're doing.

What is even happening?

It's forced hot water, so we have radiators. The furnace is supposed to circulate hot water through the hot water heater in a separate pipe(s), so that the non-potable radiator water doesn't end up in the good hot water. No, that's about what I wanted to know. We had forced hot water at our old house and have steam at this house. Boiler systems are more expensive, generally, to fix than furnaces. We had to replace the whole thing here some years back. Our hot water here is tankless (there's a little tank-looking object by the boiler, but that's a mumblemumble), so for us getting a water heater isn't even an option.

I was going to give you the name and number of our guy, but have been informed that he retired.
