Aw, man. That is sad.
Somewhat relatedly, in sideways fashion, Facebook has started showing me ads for "pelmeni dumpling molds" and on the one hand it still amazes me to see this niche food that is part of my culture showing up as a mainstream product at all, the pelmeni that they dump out of the mold in the ad do not look right, I am sorry, no.
sigh ... it bugs me how the apostrophe is abused ... and I'm also annoyed at the fact that more and more places don't use the double quotes for titles, quotations, etc.

Oh, mom of sj
Also, I have to laugh at myself - in a conversation in the kitchenette I said "it's probably been 15 years" only to realize on my way back to my desk it has actually been 22 years. Passage of time, y'all, why does this keep happening?
As a strong introvert, I might be able to manage networking and a party on the same day if the networking is low-key enough, like a (10- to 15-person) division lunch. Otherwise -- well, I don't do well in group schmoozes.
I may not say something about decimate every time I hear it, but I think it. If it's on the TV, I may yell about it.
I am an extrovert and could do networking and party but...more so if they weren't both work?? Like work networking and a friends party or hobby party or something? Otherwise that's a lot of work stuff.
