Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I second Jess' nomination. Long range forecast gives us rain, rain, oh! partly cloudy on the 10th, and rain again through the 15th. Lotsa nap-resistance.

Toddson, I would love a photo of your raven necklace. I've wanted crow/raven pendant for a while and have yet to see one that says, "Me! Pick me!"

I'm still on some NC mailing lists and I got one from Eleanore Wood this morning from Progress NC/Action about text banking and etc. It finished with a perky picture of Amy Poehler (who was a member of the Upright Citizens [comedy] Brigade) over the logo: Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!

So I get an email from Elle Woods, played by Leslie Knope of the Upright Citizens Brigade, with a Coach Taylor tagline.

The pop culture mixture is overwhelming.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Beverly, the pendant is what looks like a copy of a vintage print that's been set in "silver" with a clear cover (the reverse is a similar print of a fleur de lis). I tied a narrow black lace bow over it. No pictures, I'm afraid.

To get your spooky on, here's a one-minute video of a cat seeing a horror movie.

brillig

I have just finished scarfing down a Carls' Jr. Double Western Cheeseburger with Bacon and it tasted so damned good. Paul the Polyp was getting above himself, so I get to do this in three years.

Dear lord, I'm still hungry.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary took Mr. S trick-or-treating while I handed out candy. I think we got fewer kids than last year, and we have plenty of candy left over.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I missed most of the trickers, since Rosemary was on door duty. She reported that her favorite was the Queen of Squirrels -- with a tiara.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm off work, and have already gone through my mother's fall house to-do list and ordered a whole new wardrobe from Boden! (We'll see how much of it works...) I basically hate all of my winter clothes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm working from home and did a factory reset of my phone so I'm basically spending the next few hours rebuilding my homescreens and folder organization. (I didn't want tor restore from a backup in case the battery issues I was trying to solve came back.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought my mother had plans for tomorrow, and was all excited to go to the mall by myself, but now I'm going with her, and it will be fine, I guess. Ah well!
