I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've trained her for a month and almost a half - that is probably as long as they would have gotten if they had waited to hire her until I got a job.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wasn't even allowed to vote in any of the elections, nor the damned referendum, and the consequences affect me more than most. F*ck them all.

Ugh, Fiona, I'm so sorry. What a cluster.

Somehow the mini-flashmob actually happened at the office party which is one day before the office moves.

That is awesome!!

Work is over. Effective immediately. I handed over phone and company credit cards and was walked out.

Holy shit. Although I think in the long run it will be nice not to have to worry about that stupid job for now. Financial fingers crossed.

After several arduous weeks we got Matilda's application into School of the Arts.

Art School fingers crossed!!

New theme song for msbelle

I knew what this would be without clicking.

After going to several stationary and art stores around greater Camberville, I finally went to the closest one -- which is in Harvard Square about .9 of a mile from Youville. There's NO street parking anywhere near it, so I just said screw it and walked there through actual Harvard Yard and et cetera. And they had the Staedler Textsurfer highlighters that my resident needed for his special handmade holiday cards. Should have called them first and saved a lot of time!

Bob Slate has what you need! I coulda told you that. (Although, did you happen to notice their boxed cards? I'm going there tomorrow regardless.)

I've been offline all day at a spa day, which was incredible! Also incredibly expensive. So possibly a once-in-a-lifetime situation.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So possibly a once-in-a-lifetime situation.

Like when you got your hair cut on TV or cuddled up to Downtown Abbey cast members.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Correct! At least both of those were free.

What kind of spa day, jesse? I'm always curious because sometimes a "spa" seems like a place where you can buy a facial or a massage and nothing else, or maybe has one hot tub? But I always picture something more fancier.

Yeah, we went to a fancy hotel spa -- started in the hot tub (didn't get in the steam room), then a scrub and massage, then lunch, then a facial! There was a fair amount of lying around in the lounge, too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you drink spa water? (aka, water with cucumbers in it)

Of course!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I thought spa water was like, the stuff you get in the baths!

Msbelle- Good Riddance! I am glad you are getting severance and possibly Cobra. I thought Jesse's song was going to be "Take This Job And Shove It", but I liked hers better.

I went to the Theatre/English Department Holiday Lunch at a fancy restaurant, and the food was great, but it took 4 hours from being seated to dessert, and we left after wolfing down coffee/dessert.

I learned the production manager is ALSO not going to be there in the Spring because he is getting a knee replacement! It is going to be a shitshow, since they are also hiring some random man Nigel met at a party who "likes costumes". Good luck sir! I hope you like shopping and returning Online orders, because that is what I have been doing for 3 years straight! I am so sorry for Katie, and the production assistant/props master (Mary) and technical director (Charlie). They all want to quit too because it is so terrible, but Katie is about 2 years from retirement and for Mary and Charlie, full time, with benefits, theatre jobs are few and far between in Rochester and they are settled for family reasons.

Also, the English department ladies are hilarious, because everyone hates out employer now, and we basically had steak and lobster and drinks and very expensive food at their expense, even though the administrator is supposed to cut 20% from the budget and has been made hourly. She is in "fuck it" mode.
