I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, wow, msbelle! Well, I feel certain you will be able to put your time to better use than they ever did. Yay severance packageand COBRA, at least.

Go Matilda!

Flashmob marked to look at later

I am so ticked at the warehouse manager right now. Yesterday a coworker sent the warehouse a message regarding one of my accounts' orders (I was working the outlet sale when the thing came up). This morning I sent an update on the issue. 10 minutes later the whse mgr sends a reply to the coworker completely ignoring my update. I mean, possibly he his just bad at email, but I have sensed a pattern of him responding to men and not women and i am not in the mood to put up with it

BTW, I listened to some of the impeachment whatever was happening yesterday and hope someone here can enlighten me - what was the deal with that "move to strike the last word" business?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

said that people with RA can have double the risk of heart disease

Which isn't cool for my DH because he has RA too. He has not shown any issues, but he is obese so not good on that front. Another reason for him to get serious on prevention.

As long as he stays on top of it and sees his doctor regularly and has all the recommended tests, he's going to be way ahead of the risks.

Yay COBRA, msbelle. I guess that's the "now it's time to move to Baltimore sign" eh? Good luck!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

New theme song for msbelle

Boo heart disease, yay COBRA!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Fuck 'em in the ear, msbelle.

I'm working from home today, and so far this morning, I have woken up to the wifi not working (fixed it), I lightly stabbed myself with a knife making breakfast (band-aid applied), and stabbed myself in the lip with a fingernail while eating breakfast.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Because books.

Well, it is Friday the 13th...

msbelle, I'm sorry they're such assholes, but glad you got some severance and COBRA. Onto Baltimore!

Steph, I'm late chiming in, but all kinds of heart~ma to Tim, and I'm glad this will be a relatively simple procedure.

Yay Matilda!

-t, I don't know about the impeachment thing, but I can say, fuck him in the ear to the warehouse guy.

DebetEsse - Dec 13, 2019 9:06:53 am PST #14608 of 30019
Woe to the fucking wicked.

-t, there is only officially supposed to be 10 minutes of debate per amendment, so if a member wants to debate an amendment that has already been debated that much, they offer a pro forma amendment ("strike the last word") to get more time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought it was something like that, Debet, thanks. Standard wyas to ignore the supposed rules, instead of, I don't know, changing the rules, I suppose. I don't understand how anything ever gets done in Congress, but I guess it works somehow
