Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seven-layer dip is basically a vegetarian main, right?? (I don't think we have any vegetarians in the group but am not 100% sure.)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Not at all. It's basically a cheese and sausage plate. It's sort of a potluck staple around here.

Our wings are not tired.

Lots of heart~ma for Tim. Sounds like his medical team is on top of stuff. Breathe and let us know how it goes.

Still in certification hell here. All this crap has zero to do with what my customers need and want. shaking fist in direction of DC

Here's hoping all goes well and smoothly for Tim with the cardiologist, Steph.

Gud, there are a growing number of free or low cost online therapy options now. If IRL therapy is too hard to manage, do try to look into one of these other options.

Steph, best of luck to Tim. And good luck Laura on your exams!

I am parked on my futon watching YouTube videos about contract management as part of a training obligation. So boring. But the dog just had another mastectomy and is doped up on pain meds, so it's good to be home with her.

Following up: Gud, check out Woebot, which has an app you can load on your phone. Here's a review if you're uncertain.

And here's an article on some other online/text-based therapy options.

In fact, I downloaded WoeBot to see how it works. I definitely get kind of down during the winter, so maybe this will help deal with that.

And now it is time for me to get dressed and go to the holiday party, woot.
