"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good to know, but I'm guessing they care about the name. There are other, cheaper things on their lists.

School is already canceled tomorrow. So it looks like another day of being stuck in with a stir crazy 4 year old.

So, I realized after I sorted everyone into exchange groups that I don't have your emails to send your card lists. DOH. If you signed up for the card exchange, ping me at msgullo@gmail.com and I will send your card lists.

mac is still smoking pot. so there's that. I can't deal with it. I texted him that I found the evidence and left it at that.

We should hear from the apartment place tomorrow and I cannot imagine not getting approved, so we'll just get him moved in, set up whatever I'll be paying for (rent, electricity, and water) and let him figure out the rest. Hopefully he will not get caught and kicked out or arrested.

I think I am going to set up a schedule for moving the weekend of Jan 31st. with or without a job. I am done.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, good luck, mac.

You can drive to and from Canada with a EDL from NYS- you only need a passport if you fly.

Oh, really? I had no idea! I guess that's a benefit, at least.

and 3 more boxes packed and in garage.

now shower and bed. tomorrow is month-end close which should only be a minor cluster since we were up-to-date on things through 11-26 and did not ship anything Thursday. Still, am hoping to get in early just in case.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, have a friend who is going through an emotionally trying time right now. I want to get her something to pamper herself. I would ordinarily get a gift cert to a spa, but she is not comfortable being touched by strangers, so she doesn't really enjoy massages or facials. She's okay with a mani/pedi, but I feel like that isn't indulgent enough. Any thoughts on what I can get her?

Is there a Korean spa anywhere near her? Those usually have lots of hot tubs and various mineral-infused rooms and don't need to have touching, though may need nakedness?

Librarian Warlord

House cleaner or handyman time to help her take care of things she can't get to? Chef made meals for her freezer? Add hair and make up to mani/pedi? Personal trainer time?
