I need to hit the grocery store, but am hoping if I go soon, before lunch, it won't be too bad? I only need a couple things. I baked brownies last night, and have cookie dough resting in the freezer. Today I need to make pie. Tomorrow, green bean casserole.
Work wise, I had a ton of emails this morning and a surprising number of people are working, but not much is actually happening.

I have discover the key to not setting off the alarm with the oven is to turn the heat up to 90! I am boiling! But I made cauliflower stuffing.

We have stupid high wind gusts here and the power went out right as I was walking out the door to therapy (god bless a therapist who has time to see me the day before family Thanksgiving). But by the time I got home it was back on, so I'm going to cross my fingers it stays on (it's still really really windy) and make a pumpkin pie in just a few minutes.

Tonight after work I'll be baking an apple pie for the family Thanksgiving, then leaving with Mom by 7::30 am to make it to the hosting relatives' place in time.
