I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have MOVED FURNITURE and cleaned around and underneath. more sweeping, more laundry. I really think I want to get the old TV out of this room, but not sure I can do that alone. That would free up my mantle and I could make it all display-y and fun.

mac is still not home to clean his room and bathroom.

took some stuff to the garage. I've got a pile of coffee table books and no coffee table. If I moved my tv set-up around a bit, maybe they could go there.

Very clear to me that after I get through this current round of library books, I must start reading from my stash. I know I will not want to keep them all after reading, so that will free up shelf space, but not something I can do anything about now.

Right. Onward.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I NEED you to come out and help me figure out my furniture, msbelle. I currently have a wonderful bookcase in my hallway because I need to figure out how best to rearrange my living room to make space for it, and I just get to that, "We fear change," place and my brain freezes up.

I have too much furniture. Too much everything really, because I keep taking more and more and more from people.

I'd love to come out and rearrange furniture! Space and time and money are stupid and ruin all my plans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo, msbelle! I will try to follow your fine example tomorrow.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I want to rearrange the furniture, but first we need new bookshelves from IKEA. And if I go to IKEA, I'll spend a bazillion dollars, probably on lampshades and candle holders.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

We have a futon we want to sell on Craigslist, but first we have to unearth the futon to take a picture of it. Once that's gone, we can move some stuff to where the futon currently is. We have about three pieces of furniture too many to fit in this house.

brillig

Last time I went to IKEA, I downloaded the map and laid out a battle plan fit for war maneuvers. It mostly worked.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I really tried to stay off the internet today, but I gave up around 11 AM.

I did take the dog for a loong run in the redwoods, which was very good for me. And I cleaned the bathroom and reorganized my bedroom and ran some errands (although I couldn't find bamboo blinds at Cost Plus, Ace Hardware, or BB&B, which is annoying). Now I am home with a big cabbage salad in the fridge and a Pisco sour next to me.

Possibly learning how to make my own cocktails was not the healthiest thing to learn in the last few years...
