Go Matilda!
I'm sick with something I caught at Disney despite liberal use of hand sanitizer. I'd really love to take a week and do a staycation to recover from everything, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
I'ma get pot pie for lunch.
Mmmm, pot pie.
Way to go, Matilda!
Mmmm, pot pie. Now that I'm no longer in lots of pain nor on opioids, my diminished appetite has returned to normal levels of "yes, please can I have some more". Problematic for "the next theee months I'll be scooting around on a knee scooter or sitting on a couch" level of activity.
Also, yay Matilda!
Matilda got straight A's
Yay!!!
I'm no longer in lots of pain nor on opioids
Yay!!!!
my diminished appetite has returned to normal levels
Yay!!!
Pot pie sounds great, though maybe better tomorrow, when it's back down into the 60s and raining.
Why do I start conversations with my coworker? I should know it will just end in pain.
Woo, meara!
Now I want a pot pie.
I just lost my temper at roommate Rosemary -- took her and the cat to the vet, having discussed that I'd do a few short errands and then swing back to pick them up -- "text me when you're done!"
Result: I went back to the vet office, asked what room she was in, vet tech said that the cat was on a tech visit and that R wasn't on the premises. OK, I say to myself, she went on her own errand -- this is in a handy location with lots of stores -- text her, and wait, and wait, and wait. For 15 minutes, until my timer for the meter ran out. Finally, I call her number, which goes right to voicemail. Huh.
Go up to the front desk again, ask specifically if Jack (the cat) is done -- oh no, he ISN'T on the premises either. (Which they didn't tell me the first time.)
Not only did she go home without me (having agreed several times that I'd pick her up), she didn't text to say she was doing it, and then she turned her phone off when she got home.
Oy, Theo. That's no good.
