Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wow. That is amazing Amy.

The landlord is going over to see what happened. And put in a new lock. And leave me keys again.

There is an inspection date of November 21, which is next Thursday! I am still a little nervous about passing, but there are no fire hazards any more. My therapist told me that they don't care about the little things and will be so amazed by the change, and that they don't really, like, look in my closets or care about cat toys, which I know is logically true.

But that means I can have a nice Thanksgiving without worry about it.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Sophia, you have done an amazing job! If it's going to ease the nervousness, concentrate on maintaining what you've done rather than starting a new project.

Thrive to spite them

Sophia you are doing amazing.

Matthew's mom is anemic and from what she has said pretty anemic. She found out when she gave blood and hasn't been to the doctor, she hasn't changed her diet , and hasn't been taking iron supplements (they make her throw up). She was running the heat in August. And either she can't wrap her head around the fact I overheat easily or she is just ignoring it.

ETA

I'm sitting in a restaurant listening to someone who doesn't know who the VP is saying this is all made up

Thrive to spite them

I just got mad because she said all the Democrats are acting like children because they didn't get their way in the elections and I should have said the current ones favor the Dems but instead I said she would read what is going on because Trump used threats to extort the Ukraine as well as made threats to people on Twitter.

I shouldn't have lost my cool but damnit follow current events.

Back to the house issue. I am pretty sure we are going to just be changing the thermostat a lot. His mom can keep her room as warm as she wants but she wants but that is over 85F so when she goes anywhere else in the house it is a shock of cold .

The biggest solution is to move but Matthew needs a to supplement his VA disability with income and he was working for his brother but it messed up his back more and he hasn't been looking for another job. He said he is trying to figure something out. I've been suggesting he make tutorials for YouTube for GTA or live stream and monetize it. I don't care but I can't live the way we are long term and the house is his mom's now so us moving is the only permanent solution

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

She sounds like a difficult mother, askye.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ha! Todd, that was autocorrect messing with my post. Sigh. Nope. Just the good old-fashioned double-hung kind. We do have the fans on something like a thermostat, though

sj,we've got some time to think about screen use (beyond videoconferencing with the grands), but it's definitely something I've been thinking about. Gargoyles would be an Elementary-at-earliest show, probably. I think my priority is going to be avoiding advertising, but, as with everything in parenting, it's always a moving target.

I'm just gonna ~ma at everyone, since it seems like we could all use about 3 fewer things on our plates.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

No particular plans for the weekend here.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Autocorrect can be evil ... or highly amusing. It depends.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sometimes both at the same time!

I am in my apartment. It has a lock! THe lock is brand new!

What a very exciting thing! I was a little nervous they would put the old lock back and/or forget to leave the key.
