Yes, I would like the hospital address as well. Would it be easier if someone here had the address and people messaged them if they wanted it?
My nieces are off of school today. So I have put them to work reorganizing some of Francesca's things.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You might consider putting the address in your profile, amyth. Only logged in members can see the profile IIRC.
Great idea! I'll add my hospital address to my profile right now. Thank you all so much.
ETA: I signed up for the holiday card exchange with my home address because I figured Calli or one of my other neighbors can get my mail and bring it by.
, you said that Good Omens is your happy fic place at the moment; could we make up rec lists for you?
Depending on what kind of fic you like, I have an extensive list. A lot of it is FILTHY, though, so if that's not your thing, I...still have a list, but it's smaller.
FayJay has read a lot of Good Omens fic out loud, as podfic, and I find her to be the most soothing reader. I will listen to anything she reads, even the latest one where Aziriphale is feeding Crowley mice.
amyth, I will dump a bunch of links in the fic thread.
I really like Trudy's phrasing too, how apt!
Amyth I was glad I was able to get some useful items to you so quickly, representing a big warm hug from me in absentia. I know it's going to be a long 3 months, and I suspect you'll receive a lot of stuff at the beginning, so anyone else who's wanting to send things, keep in mind that it's not a race or a competition. Gifts appearing on a regular basis over the next few months will be received with delight I am sure! It's wonderful that you have a private room because I think your loving circle can make it as homey and comfortable as the hospital allows. Does it have a cot for visitors?
It's a great room. A corner room with views on two sides. It does have this couch/table thing that I think is supposed to be able to be converted into an actual couch for overnight stays, but it looks terribly uncomfortable. The hospital probably has cots they can provide, but I haven't looked into it yet.
I have a two-bedroom apartment, however, that has one free bedroom, currently (since Terry is using the guest room). Anyone is welcome to my king size bed at any point if they come to visit. (As long as you aren't allergic to cats.) And you'll be next door to Calli! So there would be carpooling options, and the town buses are free. And there's always Uber/Lyft. (I live about 2.5 miles from the hospital.)
There are also several hotels within walking distance of the hospital, but they can get pricey.
Thanks for the fic recs!
Aargh. Nigel head of the theatre wants to know if I am better and wants to meet. I basically want to just throw him off a roof. I really just wanted to try a month with no theatre to see how it felt. Can I tell him to fuck off, politely, until December?
I am noting all of that!
Also, gotta vent: they failed to perform a successful lumbar puncture on me this evening after NINE ATTEMPTS. I think they were going to keep trying, but I had to put a stop to the utter bullshit insanity.
So tomorrow I get it done under x-ray.
