Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Laura, I was in the lazy slug club with you yesterday.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Whew, and, huh. I've been jogging again for the last couple of months, in the very early morning because if I wait until aftter I get home from work I'll never do it, plus air quality starts dropping around mid-morning and stays in the orange zone until the fog rolls in at night. So, rise, jog, come back and Hec has coffee and oatmeal waiting for me.

Last night had some badly broken sleep—I couldn't move without coffee first. Which delayed the run until AQI had crept up just past green (not good), but also cut 20 sec/mile off my time (awesomely good). Caffeine is truly magical.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I cannot tell you how life changing this hiring Aidan thing is. I think he is going off to college next year, so I need a back up, but he just took down 4 boxes of books and 6 trash bags to the curb, and changed my lightbulb in the hall in under an hour, he also cuddled the cat. that would have taken me a whole day! I still have one box Togo down, plus one box to go through.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

With Husband being unemployed, me being flexibly employed, and both of us being night owls (me only when I don't need to get up in the morning for things, him a far nightier owl than me), bedtime keeps slipping later and later. I didn't get to sleep last night until 3:30AM. Not great, Bob.

Sophia, I need to hire someone like that. One of my biggest problems dealing with clutter is needing someone around to do all the heavy lifting. When I'm by myself I end up getting frustrated by something I can't do and then give up.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Listening to concerts at Philcon. Soon we will head home.

Even seeing Maria around it was telling me that I do not have the physical strength to take things down my stairs. Even my friend Katie, who is over sixty, can carry more stuff than I can, I think I lost a lot of muscle when I lost weight.

I am, right now, ready willing and able to throw money at this issue. Happier to throw $20 bucks at my godson than $200 on cleaners. I will have to find someone next year, but I live near a high school, so maybe I can find someone there. Although once all the junk is gone, it should probably be only one bag a week which is doable.
