I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Nope, officially doesn't start until after Thanksgiving.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whamaggeddon is going to be intense this year with that movie coming out

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, there was some extra obnoxious update of Whamaggeddon last year that ltc was obsessed with.

Our wings are not tired

Healthcare is pretty infuriating from the employer side as well. I hate being in the position where I have to be the middleman on things. Every year it's a list of new plans, and increases in cost that far outpace cost of living, then the horrible game of can the business absorb this cost again this year? I currently pay 100% of healthcare for my employees, and work like hell to be able to keep doing it, but the costs just go up and up at a rate that I can't always keep pace with on increasing billing rates to my clients.

I dream of single payer where I'm not doing it. It's is total insanity that it's part of what an employer needs to do.

On a much much lighter note: should I go dancing tonight?

Pro: it's dancing; it's a convention so there will be lots of people there from out of town

Con: it's down near the airport and I'd have to pay $20 to get in plus parking; I might end up sitting watching more than dancing; it doesn't start until 9pm.

Go dancing! I say as I sit on my couch watching TV.

Yeah, I think the big risk is more the "doesn't start until 9pm" part, really!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That was my takeaway. These days if it doesn't start until 9pm it better take an hour or less for me.
