I'm sorry, Laura. And Cindy!
Our work is going crazy and they had to put off open enrollment for a week "to give more people time to prepare for the increase in price".
I just got a notice from Health Marketplace that if I want to keep the same coverage I had this year, I can expect the price to go way up. Yay? I would totally just find the cheapest, but I'm all set up with my doctor, who has been tracking my diabetes care for five years. I don't want to have to change now.
Time is always on your side with the earliest detection, so here's hoping this is a sign that things will go as well as can be hoped.
Found out a bit more about my cousins. The sisters died across the country from each other within hours of each other, and neither knew about the other's passing. Well, not in any way that we could see.
Very similar conversations have been had in Hangouts. (Why the bleeping bleep are we switching, we just did that last year, whose good idea was this?)
Were the poor people who are in charge of communicating the changes in Hangouts? 'Cause they were in Slack. (I feel bad, but not really.)
Timelies all!
Hugs and ~ma for all who want/need them.
ltc wants to make her own Gashlycrumb Tinies book. One of us!
Awww. She is the cutest little teacup, even if she is a pill sometimes.
In what I hope is fortunate benefit news for us, the guy I deal with at the company I've been working for on contract told me that the VP is requesting funding for a W2 position for me next year. That doesn't make it a sure thing, and I don't know what the salary would be like, but there's at least the possibility of benefits on the horizon.

She is. She's sweet and kind and oh so ridiculously smart and independent. Sorry if you guys only get my frustrated posts here.
