Sophia, it sounds to me like getting into therapy and hiring professionals to remove clutter are both excellent healthy steps that should also be demonstrations of good faith effort to your landlord. Much love to you.

In case anyone is worried, we're fine here in Dallas. Apparently there were tornados, but we slept right through any problems.

Thanks, Dana, and I'm glad you all are all right! I'm trying to figure out if I should take COBRA or look for other insurance that might be cheaper. I think I just need to find an insurance broker to walk me through this.

We stuck with COBRA because we'd already met our deductible for the year (though that got reversed later, which, what can you say) and because the plan we're on covers prescriptions very well, which is a large part of our costs. Definitely going to look at a new plan in November though, when open enrollment starts.

Part of my brain is trying to formulate a hypothesis that not-terribleness is nowhere dense on the continuum of humanity along any axis and I wish it would stop. Also have Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy stuck in my head and that could stop, too. Not enough coffee in the world.
