Oh dear, I hope you make the most of your extra time in Iceland. May the return be smooth and jetlag minimal when you do finally return.
Trying to put one foot in front of the other here. Still juggling too much stuff. So my neck decided to be super painful and give me jolting spasms to keep life that much more interesting.
Had brunch this morning with Nora, Tom, chrismg, and Maria. Pic over on FB, good times, good food, good people all the way around.
I'm not jealous at all.
My eldest son has been helping me with a bunch of work and had a good interview for remote tech support stuff today. Maybe things will improve.
Hello. I just read 2 months' of posts. I don't have spoons to meara but I heart you all.
There is some mysterious shit going on at work, and I and at least 3 other people have mysterious phone calls scheduled for the same time Monday morning, and I'm afraid we're getting laid off. One of the other people is a part-timer, and I can't think of anything else that explains managers needing to talk to all of us individually at 9:30 on Monday.
I've been wrestling with anxiety anyway and now this. I'm not doing well.

Yikes, Zen. I hope it is something less dire going on.
::hugs Zen:: We're here for you.
That's promising, Laura!
Also, I read Nora and Tom and immediately went to Burrell and Scola, so I was pretty confused for a minute. Excellent brunch!
Fingers crossed, Zen, it could be some announcement of the company being sold, or CEO/whatever retiring or new health care insurance situation kicking off. Typical bureaucratic nightmare scheduling -- let all the workers stew over the weekend worrying about this.
