You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I guess if they aren't coming right out and saying that you will be assimilated it's ok

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently he's the one who is supposed to be assimilated!

Ooooh, that's entirely different!

Either way, I'm shopping for my eye piece.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So much to do....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I also was sent on a shopping trip to buy nearly $300 of beer and wine at Trader Joe's. I had to text my manager three times because I have very little idea of whether if, for instance, Yuengling Lager should be considered 'beer' and which of several varieties of red wine should be bought. And I had to get a manager to help me find the non-alcoholic beer, which was actually over in the juice aisle...

I needed two carriage trips out to the car to carry it all, and I let Husky Young People actually load and unload it on both ends of the trip.

Retirees boozing it up, Theo?

Go Jesse, the Petri laughter is an accomplisent! The assimilation is...uh...good luck??

Am now in the Airbnb I booked. All good except there's no washer dryer. The listing said there was one in the building, and the guy said that now you have to pay for it, by sending it out and getting it back the next day. I was like "I'm fine paying but I wanted to do it myself, not send it out and get it back tomorrow!" Grrr. I can bring some stuff down the street where it's about $2/kilo of clothes but it's hard to be like "I want to hang dry these, and please wash the bras on delicate, and..."

This sounds like my father-in-law's retirement community. They have some serious parties there.

Our wings are not tired.

Grr, indeed, meara. I prefer to do my own laundry too. Other people will use high heat.

The news certainly has a watching train wreck feel lately. All about 45 blowing up is going to dominate the screen for the foreseeable future. Was at least relieved for the Dallas verdict today. Hope it brings the family some peace.
