Go, Jesse! Getting stuff done. Just 'cause maybe you could have gotten that stuff done before doesn't mean it's not an accomplishment now!

Annoying Big Project is getting more Annonyingly Big by the minute.
I keep emails unread as a kind of tickler, and I've been in the 30s for days -- down to 13!
I do that, too, but then I'll be busy and forget to file them when I have done whatever they're supposed to remind me about and they pile up. So having an opportunity to get rid of some of that is nice.
Tomorrow is prelim month end close and I have early morning and afternoon errands, so I'm trying to get everything done today.
Down to 46 emails in the Primary gmail tab. That'll have to do.
Our ERP is unavailable now. Thumb-twiddling time.
It's interesting being out of the country right now—especially interested to see what happens the next couple weeks!
Interesting convo with the insurance company. I was pretty sure we'd been told that we met our deductible, but looking at the site, we suddenly hate not. Looked for our major expense on the year from back in March, which was $1300. Suddenly we showed as owing nothing on that claim.
The insurance company adjusted it YESTERDAY, so now we have to chase the provider down and get the money back. On one hand, money back is good! On the other hand, now we haven't met our deductible, so stuff that was going to be covered at a certain level isn't. Like my Botox.
I mean, I know money is money. But it makes my head hurt.
And now it's occurring to me that we've been billed on the assumption that we met our deductible since whenever we met it--is the insurance company going to go back and adjust all of those claims? Which means we'll suddenly owe more money to a bunch of doctors? Jesus Christ.
