Our wings are not tired.

I expect that the GOP will continue to obstruct any efforts to punish or hold him accountable whatsoever for the rest of his term. Then hopefully after he loses in a landslide they will arrest him. Of course I wouldn't be surprised if people want to put the past behind us and let him off the hook much like Ford pardoning Nixon, although Nixon was a complete amateur in comparison. I wish my side would have the wherewithal to follow through and impeach the judges that shouldn't have been appointed and send Trump and the whole lot of cronies to jail, but I doubt it will happen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As Abbie Carmichael says in an ad for Law & Order, Let's hang em all!

I'm down with that.

Because books.

I never thought that was possible, but look at 45 proving me wrong. Over and over again.

I'm trying to remain cautiously hopeful that the basic result of this was be no reelection, because I don't think I can survive being 2016 heartbroken again.

The blatant law-breaking and treason obviously doesn't matter to Trump's base. We know they'll vote for him if he's still around in 2020. I just have to hope that this egregious bullshit gets the people who didn't vote in 2016, or who voted third party, to get off their asses and fucking vote for the Democratic candidate.

Y'all, I have zero motivation today. The weather is perfect to go nap in a hammock in the backyard. Sadly, I have no hammock. What I do have is a giant article to edit. That's not a good tradeoff at all.

I also want to play the goose game REAL BAD.

I also have zero motivation! And today is my good day to get work done. Ha ha ha. I did finish a draft of a thing this morning. Looking at my to-do list, expense report is actually the next most urgent thing, so I guess I'll do that. It's easy, at least.

So yeah, that was easy... I always forget how easy those stupid things are!

Ha HA -- I sorted through my email and found another thing I could get done in ten minutes. Check and CHECK.

And another! Man, I sure am good at procrastinating easy tasks.
