I finished the last of my cold brew coffee this morning, so I refilled the rumble jar. I'm off work tomorrow (my final 9/80 day off of the year, alas) so I want to bring said jar home with me, so it's sitting on my desk just to the right of my peripheral vision. Every time I turn my head that way there's more brown filling the jar from the bottom and less transparent remaining on top. It's kind of neat, almost like a really slow and placid lava lamp.

Jesse, Morton Salt Girl is great, I'm just sorry I couldn't put a word in for Got Milk, since my sister worked on it for a while.
I will recommend it to someone else!
You guys, my freshman (I mean first-year) advisees are so cute! One stood me up today, so not perfect, but the other one is so great! He feels like he is struggling in a class, so he has already been to office hours and is trying get a tutor! Also it sounds like he is actually doing well in the class, just finding it hard. I was like, "Oh, but have you ever found a class hard before in your life?" The answer was maybe once. So he is doing it! That kid is going to be great.
Timelies all!
Tired again, or should I say, still.
{{Sheryl}} I remember well feeling like the walking dead being so utterly exhausted when the boys were little. Blocks of uninterrupted sleep are everything and more than they are cracked up to be.
I spent Sunday night in the ER getting diagnosed with (another) kidney infection. This week has been pure hell. I've just about had enough energy to get up, get ltc to school and pick her up, and then not sleeping at night because my anxiety goes nuts. I did stop at the market today but only because I knew I could rest when my inlaws arrived. We're headed to Mom's for the weekend, where I will hopefully get some sleep.
I'm sorry, sj. May there be much blessed sleep in your weekend.
Oh, that sounds terrible, sj. I hope you get good rest this weekend!
Thanks. We were at the movies with ltc and suddenly I was in do much pain. I managed to get through the movie, but then we headed to the ER and my inlaws took ltc home.
Oh, Grandpa Mason. :(
The Morton Salt Girl is my fav! I have mugs I got at a rummage sale that are Morton Salt Girl throughthe years.
