Today I basically moved my work office to my house, except none of the furniture. I have lots of things still in bags, but 2 mo iyirs, keyboard, mouse and printer are all here. I have to much paper in my office that i think once I go through it here I can either make correct files or throw stuff out.

In getting things set up I had to clean up a desk that I have not used except for a catch all in abt 8 years. Threw out lots of paper. So many note pads.

Got home and no one else is here. Little worried, because the nanny only supposed to be here until 5. Hopefully she just took Mr. S out and forgot about the time. Unfortunately, I do not have any way to contact her.

Askye, that's impulsivity and executive function (making an appropriate plan and carrying it out). It's not a big deal, till it is (and driving makes it a big deal fast) Is she getting OT as well as PT?

Sheryl, that seems...not ideal. Can you get her phone number when she gets back?

I'm hoping the child was back shorty after she posted, since it's now late there!

She has seen the OT and will again this week. It's kind of interesting because some of the things mom is dealing with are issues I've had because of my own executive function problems. I and a terrible driver at first and got into multiple accidents/wrecks my first years of driving.

Meara, that would be clean a desk. I should really read back a post before I post.

For those of you following along here and not over on FB, I thought I'd give an update. I had a great conversation on the phone today with my birth mother. It was really great to hear her voice. We spent a little more than an hour on the phone and we are both excited to now be connected.
