'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No, it hasn't.

Looks like I'm to come in for orientation on Monday, though, since I passed my background check, so there's that!

Oh, Sheryl. I'm sorry.

Yay, Theo!

You could put your phone in airplane mode and pretend, meara? That's pretty funny. Reminds me of walking around Yosemite with DH and seeing a sign for the amphitheater and him checking for wifi...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Sheryl I am so sorry. I hope you all are able to get his medicine and into some therapy soon.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sheryl, lots of good thoughts and ~ma headed your way! I hope the medication helps.

I managed to sort of Marie Kondo my wardrobe today. My folding skills aren't really very good, mostly because my hands don't want to cooperate. TCG is going to take a huge bag of stuff to the post office for thredup (mostly because it's too heavy for me to carry) and another bag is headed out to be donated. The problem is I never can keep up the momentum with reorganizing because I overdo it and then am too exhausted to do more the next day.

Our wings are not tired.

Sheryl, I hope you are able to work together on a good strategy going forward. ~ma for strength and energy for you and Gary.

I need to get some kind of space heaters that I can run without popping my breakers. Not sure if charging my car is contributing to the overload but I've popped the main 3 times in the past couple weeks. Including this morning. My car should have been completely charged but I had 4 heaters running, each on different circuits, but apparently too much overall.

If you don't have upgraded electrical then yes, the electric car can put a big strain on the system. At full draw they can pull close to 15A on a standard 110 circuit. We had a 220 service installed in our garage so that we could have a Level 2 charge station for the Bolt.

And the bad news keeps trickling as I find out who from other departments got laid off. A lot of people I like, and an awful lot that I have been working with directly and now don't necessarily know who to go to with questions. So that's just delightful.

Being at work makes my stomach hurt this week. My inner Chidi is emerging, I guess.

On the plus side, I made "mac and cheese" by melting butter and shredded cheddar into the last of rotini and that hit the spot.

Most things are better after mac and cheese. Sorry about the work badness.

ND, I do have the regular 220 RV port installed for the car, but I still have to bump it down to 5 or 10 Amps so I don't pop breakers. Mostly I don't car if it charges all night so I turn it down.

It rained and thunder stormed all night long. The tent leaked a little but mostly under me not on me, so it went under the sleeping pad and I didn't feel it. So that was ok. Finally stopped around 6am and I was able to get up and go to the bathroom and such, and then drove back to the lake to take dawn photos—wish I'd been about 15 min earlier but still think I got some good ones. Taking the slow route back to Portland today rather than staying another night since there's supposed to be more thunderstorms this afternoon
