Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

New thread smell!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh, heartbreaking listening to Dr. Ford. She's very composed but obviously under tremendous stress.

And it bugs me that the fact that because she's a blonde, educated, well spoken woman from Chevy Chase she will be more credible. But she sounds very credible, and if Kavanaugh's argument is that "I believe it happened to her but she's mistaken me for somebody else" then I don't think that will fly at all.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't really understand why but that makes me feel better.

OK, Good Place podcast, get me through the day.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Steph, your parents are... that's some crazy stuff. I want my daughter to have a good sex life, but I don't want to be in in or near the loop on that.

Fortunately I had therapy this morning, and we hashed all that out (again), and my therapist said "I feel like it's unprofessional to say this, but -- your parents are FUCKED UP." I assured her that that is the most reasonable reaction to their nonsense. (My brother's therapist is the same way -- once when my brother started off a session by saying that our Dad called him the day before, his therapist said, "Christ, THIS asshole again!")

I'm not watching the hearing. I just can't. But I am SUPER glad that The Good Place is back tonight! And don't forget -- it's an hour long tonight!

What is even happening?

Here are ridiculously cute animal videos and photos. I don't have an Instagram. If you do, this might not be news to you, but I found it was a good way to occupy myself for a little while.

Blasey Ford looks an awful lot like one of my cousins, which has upped my outrage (even though the meter was already pinned).

Huh:

Hi there,

I am a designer working with Santander (the bank) on a project in Brooklyn. The project consists of black and white photo's in various sizes within there space. I came across some of your photos on Flickr and I was wondering if you would be open to selling your photos.

We are still in the design stage, so this will only happen if the client accepts your photos but I wanted to get your permission before we even present them. If one is chosen, we would put a photo credit on it as well. A few questions for you are:

1. Can we show your photos to our client?

2. Will you sell us your photo if they chose yours?

3. How much per image?

4. What is the largest pixel size you have available?

Thanks so much!!

Katie
