Doing 15 crafts this week sounds bananas to me! But you know the projects and yourself.
Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I find it a little baffling to care what happens to my body when I die?
Also along these lines, I'm annoyed at people who want to make really specific restrictive bequests. You won't be here to see what we do with your money! And yet we will be locked into whatever you say!
Dear friends: when you are making charitable bequests in your will, just give the money unrestricted, would you?
For you, Jesse, I will. Go wild with my thirty-seven cents, or whatever!
Part of me wants to be turned into a Lifegem so my descendents can wear me as a creepy haunted necklace,
That is exactly my plan, but I expect flocks of babygoths to battle in a tournament to win the honor of wearing my remains.
That is an excellent plan, Atropa.
For those planning on medical donation, have a backup plan.
Yeah, it still makes me sad that none of DH could be donated because of circumstances. He was so in favor of organ donation. Plans for what'll happen to your body are just as liable to change as plans for your life, I guess.
Timelies all!
Worldcon is over.(to answer your question, msbelle, cons are not part of our jobs. They're part of our social life.) Next year, Worldcon is in New Zealand, so we won't be going. 2021 is D.C..
Finally, it is all over. Dad breathed his last right around the time I was posting about him. Apparently all of a sudden. He's been my only parent for 42 years and now I'm an adult orphan. I am very sad, especially because his birthday is in two weeks. We are really going to miss him and his stories.
I'm so sorry, KB. It's so hard to lose such a big part of your life. I pray loving memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
I'm sorry, Katie Bee. That is a hard loss. Wish I could give you a proper hug.
