Zen how long were you on the hard drugs? And when did you go back to work?
I went back to work a week after the surgery, and it was too soon. I should've taken another week.
It's been a year and a half since the accident and I still have a prescription for Percocet. I don't think you'll need it that long! That's due to my situation - the bone didn't heal; the tibia remained broken for a year and a half - so I was in pain a lot longer than I should have been!
I really should have gone back to the surgeon sooner, but everyone was warning me that it would never be the same, that with the cartilage gone in the ankle it would always hurt, so I just tried to adapt and endure.
I think I actually have no work to do? Weird. I maybe could find something if I was so inclined but I'm really really not.
meara, have you tried medical marijuana or CBD oil? Neither is the answer for pain for everyone, but some it really does help a lot.
Theo, not yet. May possibly in the future but not until I'm on fewer other meds, I think, lest there be interactions.
Timelies all!
Still tired. At this point, I think tired is my default condition when awake these days.
Sometimes I dream that I am really tired and being kept from sleeping by whatever. Do not like.
You guys, I am such a good daughter. I have spent more time fixing my mother's chorus' website. I have downloaded an SSH client to change file permissions. I have fought with passwords that didn't want to get changed. I have updated all WordPress extensions. I have backed up the whole site in case I broke something while doing the above. And now I am figuring out how to poke something in WordPress because I can't view the site stats because they need them for a grant.
You are amazing!
So, I think that Insane Clown thing is something another department is putting together in the cubicles, not an actual event out in the wild. Much less disturbing.
Now I am in the queue for live chat support.

Ah. Things are starting to emerge for our work Halloween on Friday -- there was a weird party invitation in the kitchen, and I finally realized what the date was.
