I wish I knew, Vortex. I'm surrounded by these people too.
You guys, I'm at work today, I don't have to evaluate functions with multiple variables for at least another ten hours today, the neurotic cat let me put an anti-flea collar on her in under two hours last night and I even got to do a bit of cooking and cleaning, so everything is wonderful for the time being (sans the news. Always sans the news).
Good stuff, Shir!
Vortex, I think tone is the trick, which is hard when you're peeved! But if you have any kind of leadership role, you can just say that, but nicely.
Vortex, is there anyway to broaden the comment to something along the lines of "for productive meetings we need to follow a strict agenda where members limit their contributions to their assigned role".
I was super lazy yesterday. Maybe today will be better?
Foster dog is with sitter. Now to do all the work on my desk.
Timelies all!
Got up at stupid o'clock to catch the train to Galway. Went to the aquarium and the City Museum, or at least as much as we could see with Mr. S. We're all tired now.
Did he enjoy the aquarium?
Just overheard in the office lunchroom:
"What's it like being over 40?"
And they're discussing CrossFit. Oh dear G-D.
"I'm 32, I feel so old, everything hurts all the time."
Somehow I refrain from starting to laugh and laugh.
You know what? I really appreciate that it's super easy for me to change my W-4 withholding online. It's going to take some tweaking to get it where I will hopefully not owe a ton next year but still have take home pay to cover my expenses and having to do that with paper would be a huge hassle.
I am at the airport, no panic attacks today and now nothing for me to do but wait until I land. I like it when there is nothing for me to do,
