Yep. Let me know if you want postage $.
I saw my nephew before he went home. Also my brother. He talked and I kinda pushed things more than I should. He is aware that E is showing signs of possibly being autistic. Things like listening to the same podcast over and over and having trouble transitioning to different activities and social difficulties. They have no plans to have him evaluated , see a professional or talk to him about this unnless it gets worse.
I also realized tonight he has shown signs of dysgraphia (problems with fine motor skills, horrible hand writing etc). My brother keeps saying "if he (my nephew) wants to he can (insert thing)" but I don't think he understands the effort and toll it can take and I tried to explain but we had to change thw subject.
I want to send him an email and remind him that social interactions change and get more complex as we get older and that by middle school I couldn't compensate the way I had in elementary school because I couldn't keep up.
Katerina, just read your Beep Me. I'm so sorry. Hang in there and health-ma for your dad.
Giving you all the -ma, Katerina.
All the ~ma in whatever form is needed, Katerina.
Oh Katerina, my heart goes out to you. I wish I didn't have an idea of what you are feeling. Alas I do, and I totally understand how it doesn't seem real. I wish I had some great wisdom or advice. You will be in my thoughts.
Katerina, great sympathy for what you're going through -- sometimes the hope is worse than the certainty. Be there for your family, it's the best thing you can do for them now.
I'm so sorry, Katerina.
