I am doing pretty well on my to do lists and actually got a fair amount of work done today.

I had the meeting with my boss's boss and my boss today. While I do think they are interested in keeping me with the company, I got the distinct feeling they are most interested if their is a way for them to put me in a position that benefits them rather than kinda selling my skills to another department that might be a better fit for me. I guess that is to be expected.

Clear from the meeting though is that zero conversations have already happened with some of the baseline important people, like HR, and VPs who would have to decide if they would even support having a remote employee of my level in MD where we do not have any current employees or operations.

I think as I have spoons to do so, I will start applying to jobs.

My bro and SIL convinced my niece that the DVD player in their SUV only worked when it had warmed up for an hour so she could only use it on long trips.

Thanks. We always have sunscreen with us because ltc needs it for camp, biking, etc.
