You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

My kids were always only semi-scheduled, partly because I never had money to put them in everything, but also because they all pushed for free time, and with all three, there were enough neighborhood kids to keep them pretty active without being scheduled. That much camp and travel for an 11-year-old seems a little grueling, askye, I agree.
