The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

My few assets are non-estate assets, are not subject to probate, and have beneficiaries designated - which simplifies things.

The tedious part is keeping updated the list of recurring liabilities and the details which will be needed to cancel them. I don't do auto bill-pay, but some of the accounts and subscriptions do auto-renew annually.

For me, the really awkward one was the durable healthcare power of attorney.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It helps to be a married couple with no kids, each of whom has one sibling. It makes wills pretty straightforward.

Did a little research prior to my first Botox appointment tomorrow, and have now successfully freaked myself out a little.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Dana, the Botox is for migraines, right? I've been getting quarterly injections for two years now, and I've never had any of the side effects, just blessed relief.

Yeah, migraines. Every other article was like, it's nothing! Tiny needles! and then every OTHER article was like, it's a bunch of NEEDLES! In your face!

I mean, despite my whining, I think I have a pretty decent pain tolerance. And I'm not very worried about side effects, except I'm not sure I want parts of my face to stop moving. But we'll see.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My grandmothers were named after their locations — Escanaba Grammy and Florida Grammy. My maternal great grandmother (who I am named after but never met) was called Gagoo. Her sister's grandchildren called her Aimee. Their grandkids each had sailboats named after their grandmothers, and on Saturday afternoons, you could see two elegant old women standing on the shores of Lake Michigan, shouting "Go Gagoo!" And "Get 'em, Aimee!"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Oh I forgot I do have one unique naming. The only great-grandparent I met, my Great-Grandmother went by Treasure. She got the moniker from a grand-daughter she was helping to raise.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tired, as usual.

Aw, Mitch McConnell fell at his house and fractured his shoulder. I guess there's a tiny bit of karma coming back at him.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Maybe it was a Russian operative who was encouraging him to stay true to Putin's plan for us.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Or maybe his body could no longer stand the strain of the cognitive dissonance required to keep blocking gun control legislation.
