Goodbye and Good Riddance 2016: We know the world didn't end, because, check it out!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.

Go away, 2016.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

A sneaky and observant elf sent me the Karen Hallion "The Patriarchy Isn't Going To Smash Itself" t-shirt that I admired here recently! Love it! Wore it last night.

Thrive to spite them

So my year in review -- even though it's not the end of the year...

I have had a rough time adjusting to North Carolina. It's not a bad state but Vermont felt like home in a way Florida never did and even though it wasn't perfect it was a good fit. Plus there are parts of where I live that look a lot like VT so it's weird.

Most of my stuff is health related I guess.

Started seeing an awesome therapist who specialises in PTSD/trauma and am seeing him and in a trauma group he runs. He also diagnosed me with Asperger's..well autism since Asperger's isn't its own thing but on that end of the spectrum... and I've been working on a lot of skills in therapy that have been helpful.

So helpful I have gone off all meds. Except for rarely taking klonopin. This is huge...especially since...

I started working again. Part time and I'md oing morning inventory/stocking work. This isn't fancy and I know it's not huge in the scale of things but this time last year I could barely handle going to the grocery store. Heck in spring of this year I could barely handle the grocery store. And now I'm working and getting up at 3 am some mornings because my shift occasionally starts at 4 am.

There have been a lot of adjustments and change this year and I don't always handle it the best way but I'm handling things better and building.

I also kind of want to start dating again.

askye, that's all wonderful to hear!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's so good to read how much progress you've made and are continuing to make, askye!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

There have been a lot of adjustments and change this year and I don't always handle it the best way but I'm handling things better and building.

You are doing wonderfully well. That's a lot of big changes and you are working to handle each one. No one could ask more.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wonderful, askye. I know it's been tough for you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's fantastic, askye!
