I put my gift in the mail today, so I hope my poor giftee will have joy soon.

2016 sucked a lot on the macro and micro levels. I ate my depression so my doctor will not be happy with me when I have my physical next week. I blame Trump.

I just can't spell out what sucked for me personally. It's still too depressing to think about. But, I'm still here and I still have you guys, that helps in so many ways.

Got a surprise calendar in the mail today. Thank you Java cat.

I also got a calendar, and earrings! I laughed out loud at the note on the calendar, which is of tattoos, that said "only two of the months are guys!"

Thank you to my C. Kret Santa for the wonderful "Buffy staked Edward" tshirt that was waiting for me when I got back to work last week! I saw the Redbubble package and got so!excited! 'cause Redbubble always means awesomeness. :-D Also, the FIVE pairs of socks that I ordered with the gift certificate came in yesterday, and suddenly the coming week is going to be so much better. I had my date. It was...awwkard and boring and occasionally interesting. It was a lunch date for scheduling reasons.

I got home and - Secret Santa Presents!! I got a Dragonfly coloring book (which I almost bough the other day) , colored pencils (72 colors!), spicy tabasco chocolate, and this amazing Doctor Who pocket watch -that can be worn as a pocket watch or an necklace and a pendant!! I'm waiting for day light to take pictures/

I picked up my package today. I posted a photo in the FB group, but I am positively delighted by a treasure trove of goodies:

I've died and gone to favorite things heaven. I should probably try to stay there for the next four years, at least.
