Vortex, I did end up watching it, and I thought it was just okay.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The brief bit of it I saw last night was in no way recognizable as any version of Krypton I'm familiar with.
I just wondered why everyone had british accents.
I liked Krypton. The sets look great. I look forward to seeing Seg using his brain instead of his fists. I do hope someone will say, "Seg, way!"
Also the badass fight instructor made me think of ita for a minute.
iZombie: What was the original point of Major & Donnie's road trip? I couldn't follow that at all. Were they going to trade the girl for brains? How does that make sense?
It sounded to me like maybe they were smuggling her out of the city and back to her Dad, so he wouldn't nuke the city? (Which also doesn't make sense, but I'm honestly not following much of the Filmore-Graves political stuff this season.)
I thought they were smuggling her into the city so Daddy wouldn't nuke the city from the get-go. They just weren't supposed to turn her - because that's an execute-able offense in the NWO. But I'm also confused about just what Filmore-Graves is up to.
And where did all those French-speakers come from?
So the men they were supposed to meet at the motel had nothing to do with the girl? That... is weird.
OMG! The crime scene in the episode of Lucifer I'm watching is at The Safari Inn, where the LA F2F was held. Some Buffistas probably slept in the very room. So exciting.
I'm really loving Black Lightning, and I have a lot of thoughts about it, but DAMN, every single episode just kills it with the soundtrack. Whoever is in charge of the music is brilliant.
