And The Magicians keeps the Buffy references coming.
This season feels disconnected compared to S2, and somehow the stakes don't feel as high. I still love the show, but this season hasn't coalesced yet for me.
Anya ,'Dirty Girls'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm catching up on this season's X-Files. Of all the things that could throw me out of it, watching a college math instructor work with transparencies on an overhead projector seems to have done the trick. I'm pretty sure my university hasn't had overhead projectors for a decade. There are loads of ways to project whatever's on your computer or tablet as well as a bunch of smart boards. Oh, I'll keep watching; it's a case of throwing me out of the moment, not the series. But lordy.
If it helps, both the university and the community college I teach at have document cameras as part of the AV system, which are functionally equivalent to overhead projectors, and the university still has a few actual overhead projectors for use in rooms without built-in AV systems (old buildings, limited budget).
Damn, yes, Black Lightning was really good. Including the music.
Some spoilery news that will get me watching Legends of Tomorrow again: [link]
Wait wait, are you telling me that John Constantine has been on LoT this whole time and I didn't know? Is he played by Matt Ryan ?
Not the whole time. Just a recent additon
Is it Ryan?
Same guy who played him on Arrow.
Yep, Zen. I love that even though Constantine was one and done, Ryan has been able to make pretty much a full career playing the character in the wake of the cancellation. Thank goodness the folks in charge of DC shows realized what a good thing they had in his casting.
