Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Every time I hear the name "DeVoe" my mind immediately goes to "Bell Biv DeVoe" and it loses all possibility of being threatening.
Also, I was annoyed Barry ended up rewarded for his stupid creepy/stalky/obsessive behavior with a confession from DeVoe.
Meanwhile, Team Arrow are also idiots. As soon as the fake cops started playing punching bags (and made no effort to kill the fleeing citizens) it was super obvious the evil plan was to get Team Arrow on video beating up cops.
Also, FBI lady is pompous and annoying.

That boy is poison.
Yes, that earworm tends to follow shortly after.
Holy shit, Arrow just BLEW MY MIND. That was worth being unspoiled for.
That was fun. I simultaneously feel bad for Alex while being thoroughly amused by her awkwardness with Sara (when they're not in battle, anyway.)
The Earth-1 Thawn wearing Wells' face while being a gung-ho alternate-reality Nazi supporter is just weird, though.
So my guess on the awkward attendant at the wedding was time-traveling granddaughter (or some other future family member) of Barry and Iris.
How does Dark Ollie still have a bow and/or arm after his encounter with Killer Frost?
Shallow note: I've always thought Melissa Benoist was adorable but not really "hot" in the traditional sense, but her dress in the rehearsal scene made me re-evaluate.
Tommy BLEW MY FUCKING MIND. I'm so glad they got him for that scene. I actually audibly gasped. I can't remember the last time a show/movie made me gasp.

Seriously, why does Thawne care? I mean I am LOVING getting to see Tom Cavanagh as (what I think of as) S1 Thawne, so I basically don't really care what Thawne's reasoning is. But it's weird that he's all "Yay, Fatherland!"

That's what Tim thought, too. It flew right over my head, but it makes sense.
I am curious what they're setting up with her. Unless we're going to get a female Impulse. That might be kind of awesome.
I have no idea if the intention was to make Wally look like a stage magician during the big fight in the church, but between the hair, the purple suit and the way he was waving his arms while redirecting the bullets, that's totally what it ended up looking like to me.
The thing that's always been frustrating with the character of the Flash is that he's the fastest man alive -- he should be able to take out a church full of alternate-universe Nazis, no questions. Add in Wally West -- 2 Flashes should have been able to do it before Heat Wave even whipped out his head gun.
Yeah, but basically unless they have him fight another speedster every week they can't use his speed to its full potential or there wouldn't be any challenges.
Then again, they had him stop and take like half a minute to reassure Iris in the middle of the melee while Nazis were shooting at a whole building full of his friends and family, so perhaps being an idiot is what compensates for his power set?
I haven't been watching in a while... is there a reason Jay Garrick wasn't at the wedding?
No in-show reasons, so probably either budget or availability.
