The Arrowverse allegations was apparently widely known and I am seeing a lot of the fandom people I follow assert that there are others in that production sphere. All horrible.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The fact that they hired Jerkules on one of the DC shows proved to me that Berlanti pays zero attention to chauvinist and harassing behavior on those soundstages.
Sorbo? ugh I didn't know they hired him. gross
*(Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Come through for me, guys. Come through. Okay, Mr. The Rock being a sexual predator would make me sad, too, now that I think of it.)
That is pretty much my list too. I am pretty braced for almost anyone else, but if Obama or LMM have any issues, I am pretty much done with the world.
I have a secret, very short list of men in the public eye who, if it turns out they are sexual predators, will just gut me.* Beyond them, I'm pretty much braced for every other goddamn man in politics or Hollywood to turn out to be a total shitbag.
My list is basically David Attenborough.
Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Lin-Manuel Miranda
I'm nervous to even write down my own list (which definitely includes these three) because I'd feel compelled to Google first, and I don't want to find anything!
Ugh, Andrew Kreisberg. That one bites. Back when I was a superfan of DC comics TV (okay, like 3 years ago but it feels like foreverrr), I remember listening to a long, entertaining podcast where Kreisberg discussed his career with Kevin Smith and thinking, "he seems like a really cool dude." Mo Ryan from Variety, who broke the Kreisberg story, was a big champion of Arrow and The Flash in their early seasons, too.
On the big picture level, I am glad the Weinstein story burst the floodgates open, but every day, it's like you wake up bracing for impact in case the next dirtbag turns out to be someone whose work you enjoyed/who you thought was one of the Good Ones.
I am laughing and laughing at Franz Drameh's impersonation of Victor Garber in the body-swapping episode.
FIRESTEIN.
Did everyone get body-swapped or was it just a Firestorm glitch?
