Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

He was only in the 2nd to last episode of the season, this season. But, it was wonderful to see him! I cheered!

I almost gave up on the show but the character who aren't James Gordon kept luring me back.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I have tripped and fallen into a cheesy fantasy called Shadowhunters, the origin of which is Cassie Clare's The Mortal Instruments. Therefore the central character is a pretty blatant self-insert for the author.

Aside from that though, it's very...pretty. Glee's Harry Shum, Jr. is a warlock. Who doesn't dance, regrettably, but he does beautiful, cgi-enhanced magical gestures, and wears eyeliner *really, really* well.

It's available on Hulu and runs on the Freeform cable channel. Anybody else watching?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I started watching it last season, but fell away when things were sacrificed to the screwed up DVR. I've been seeing the commercials for the upcoming 2nd season and thinking of trying to catch up on demand, but I'm torn. The pretty is really remarkable, but so is the atrociousness of some of the writing.

Yes. Sometimes it's better just to watch with the sound muted. That way the writing doesn't dilute the pretty.

It's a very silly show. But I think I was ripe for something silly and non-demanding. Serious has been a turnoff for me lately. Everything real is deadly serious--I don't need it in my escapist entertainment.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

iZombie: So we are all in agreement that the zombie family was killed by the zombie paramilitary group, right?

Jon, I think so too.

Definitely seems so.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I gave up on the CW DC shows. Love the actors but the writing is so bad, I couldn't take it anymore.
