I have no memory of last week's Arrow except for the end.
'Beneath You'
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Okay, yeah, the end was totally worth it. I may or may not have yelled "Slaaaaaaaade Wilson!!!!!" loudly enough to startle the sleeping cat.
Really hoping that Malcolm doesn't make it through the finale. Probably the only way to get the writers to stop using him as an easy out.
I assume that Wally and Jay would be back in hell, whereas Barry will not. Presumably.
I thought this had some really nice moments, actually. Candice Patton does a lot of unacknowledged work.
(Yes, I cried over H.R. Like three times. And at the end. And over Mon-El. I possibly need to stop watching season finales for the moment.)
My CW station is showing a weather guy talking about a tornado warning that isn't in or near my county. NOT COOL, WEATHER DUDE.
They legit just broke back into programming. JESUS.
(I mean, I get that tornado warnings are important. But the timing SUUUUPER sucks.)
Sorry about the interruptions, Teppy. It was a good finale.
I missed from when Ollie refused to kill Chase in the temple thingie (about the 48-minute mark) right up through when Chase shot himself and the island went boom.
I'll have to catch what I missed tomorrow. Sheesh, weather.
Arrow: Well, that was the least cliffhangery cliffhanger I've seen in a while.
Also, it's good seeing Slade in full possession of his marbles, as it were.
As for Flash, I would be thoroughly disappointed if this is the last we see of Barry. Despite the repeated writer-induced stupidity, I really like Grant Gustin in the role.
ETA: In retrospect it's kind of lame they possibly killed Merlyn and Boomer with an off-screen explosion and then went back to the well with the whole freaking cast for the finale.
