It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

It was an excellent finale. I have no idea who that was supposed to be at the end.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm hoping that is the last we see of Mon-El.

Art Crawl!!!

I was hoping that semi-binging "12 Monkeys" would enable me to understand what is going on. . . not so much.

I mean, it's fun but still so confusing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm only halfway through the first episode, and I'm already confused.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

No clue who that was supposed to be at the end. All I know is I really hope it's not Doomsday.

One thing that's bothered me about the Kryptonians, as presented on Supergirl (and maybe in the comics, I'm not sure what the latest iteration of their society is) is that they're presented as an intergalactic society (Kara has knowledge of a wide variety of alien species and mentions vacationing off-world with her parents at one point) but somehow Kal-El, Kara and now our mystery baddie (plus Astra and her goons) were the only survivors. No one else, other than that ill-fated diplomat whose pod Mon-El stole, happened to be off-world when their planet blew? On the other hand, if there's a ton of Kryptonians out there, it sort of ruins the whole Last Son/Daughter of Krypton schtick.

I'm hoping that is the last we see of Mon-El.

My guess, based on the comics, was that wormhole was sucking him into the distant future where he'll be found by the Legion of Superheroes.

I will say J'onn and M'gann kissing bothered me a bit. I know they didn't go with that background on Supergirl, but I'm used to M'gann being (or at least posing as) J'onn's niece.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hasn't she been a White Martian in all versions, though?

As I said on another board: Sorry, don't ask me to suspend enough disbelief to buy Melissa Benoist beating Tyler Hoechlin in a fair fight when I'm already accepting flying aliens and Winn being heterosexual.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

No clue who that was supposed to be at the end. All I know is I really hope it's not Doomsday.

Someone suggested elsewhere that it might be Reign, someone I've never heard of but is apparently a Supergirl villain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I've seen the same since I posted, DX.

She has. On Young Justice she was still J'onn's niece (in that universe Green, Red and White Martians were all the same species, they just had different skin colors.) I'm not as familiar with the comics version but I don't recall them being romantically involved.

As I said on another board: Sorry, don't ask me to suspend enough disbelief to buy Melissa Benoist beating Tyler Hoechlin in a fair fight when I'm already accepting flying aliens and Winn being heterosexual.

Yeah, I don't buy Kara beating Clark in a fair fight. (And the "she really, really won, the silver kryptonite had nothing to do with it" bit afterwards seemed clunky.) It would have been better if Clark just said "This is Kara's fight." and left it at that.

Someone suggested elsewhere that it might be Reign, someone I've never heard of but is apparently a Supergirl villain.

I've never heard of Reign either, but that would make sense considering the emphasis on the word in that scene.

Super girl expects me to believe that Kara is in love with Mon-El and not Lena despite all evidence to the contrary.
