The Flash: I wasn't actually expecting that. Do we think it will stick?
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I don't know. I was distracted by the terrible song at the end. Something about the singer's voice was like nails on a chalkboard for me and it completely destroyed any chance I had of emotional investment.
ETA: I will say, since killing Laurel off on Arrow last year apparently stuck, it could go either way. I just don't want 7 seasons of mopey Flash.
Some are suggesting that the face swap technology was used and that wasn't Iris. Maybe HR instead.
When would that have happened, though? Savitar took Iris from Earth 2 and she was in his custody until the showdown at the park.
No idea. It never even occurred to me until I was reading the comments on a recap.
If it would get rid of HR I wouldn't examine the explanation too closely...
Time remnant <hand waves>
Did I mention how bad these people's plans are?
Like, maybe only Joe and Wally should know where Iris is?
Like, okay, Cisco is apparently destined to fight Killer Frost in a forest. Maybe don't go there at the exact time of the big confrontation?
Shit, why couldn't they just put a big truck where Savitar was standing and force him to move?
Why couldn't Barry have taken three steps closer when shooting the bazooka, thereby putting himself in range to reach Iris in time?
The writers certainly set up HR to make The Big Sacrifice, what with his complaining about feeling useless, etc. What was that wing-ish thing he was looking at in the glass case, right as the gang was leaving?
That was the spike that Barry broke off Savitar's suit earlier in the season.
