A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
well that Arrow ep was better than many other this season, but also filler and also hated the ending scenes and also hate that the kid is back. so yeah.
caught up on iZombie and still really liking it. it may be the only CW show I carry over to next year.
Watching the most recent Doctor Who, and got to these lines:
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value that you place on a life. An unimportant life. A life without privilege.
Guess we took a nice giant step backwards today.
"The more you time travel, the less the rules apply to you."
In other words, the Flash writers have given up on having any coherent rules on how time travel works in their universe.
They were trying to follow coherent rules before?
I think they also gave up on a coherent plot.
Maybe we should just be glad they're speaking in coherent language. Not necessarily making sense, but at least it's something recognizable. Most of the time.
We've had multiple marker board explanations of how time travel "works" so they were at least trying to have rules, they just couldn't seem to adhere to them.
I will say this week was weirder than most with Savitar losing his memory at the same time as Barry and therefor being unable to have given Wally speed, but everyone still remembered him having speed, and Savitar even still existing despite him having no memory of Barry's betrayal (or anything else) to motivate him.
Huh. I was expecting Dolph to show up again in the modern storyline, not the flashbacks.
Flash: These people need lessons in good judgment from Oliver Queen. That's how BAD their plans and ideas are.
